Blanche Saffron Kabengele, author of Conjugal Relations of Africans and African Americans (Edwin Mellen Press, 2016) and Quiet as It’S Kept, Me Too and Other Poetic Expressions of Life (Xlibris, 2018), holds a doctorate in Educational Studies from the University of Cincinnati. Blanche has published poetry in East Fork Journal, Verse Virtual, For A Better World, Rockford Writers Guild and W-POESIS. She and husband Peter spent three summers in the DRC Congo and a summer experiencing an uncomplicated existence Down Under, where kangaroos outnumber people.
