Jersey Cow at the Market

My daily creative practice as a multidisciplinary artist-poet is to be on the alert for material, ideas and inspiration wherever I go; always seeking the poetry of visual images as seen through the lens of eye or camera, with an eye for visual narratives, anecdotes and optical riddles. I use creativity as a fun way of alleviating loneliness. Each image which catches my attention is not only preserved for my own pleasure, but something I can share with many others; and by sharing these sights seen at Hove Museum, a flea market in Stanmer Park, or an alleyway explored in London, I invite the company of others to join me on this mini-tour of randomly spotted delights.

Janina Aza Karpinska is a multidisciplinary artist-poet, of which photography is just one practice, but a constant; finding something of value in mundane details of everyday life to enrich every occasion, every journey taken; and creating memories to treasure long after. She has exhibited framed work at the International Photographic Exhibition at the Ark-T Centre, Oxford, and made an artist book for the Picture House in Leicester. Her work has also been featured on the covers of Heart of Flesh Literary Journal, Chichester Magazine, The Hovarian, Voices de la Luna, superfroot, Literary Cocktail, Months to Years, Last.
